Hmm...what to say.....I'm a fairly ordinary looking bloke, with fairly ordinary interests - I like messing about with my friends, having the odd lurid coloured drinks at the weekend, and getting excited on Friday afternoons. However, I'm also a bit of a nerd, getting entirely overly-enthusiastic about foreign films, Xbox, and obscure graphic novels. I'm not freakish white-skinned zombie though, promise.

I've just got back from Japan where I was teaching English to kids, so I'm annoying everyone at the moment by pre-fixing every conversation with when I was in Japan..... This also probably accounts for the enormous reading appetite I have at the moment, having spent a year where I couldn't decipher a menu let along a novel, so any recommendations for books welcome.

I've just started work in Nottingham so I'm looking for someone to some of the sights and sounds of the city - so far I've got as far as the Victoria Centre, and I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that. I like anyone that can make me laugh, and if you pepper your conversation with quotes from Peep Show, Alan Partridge, and Flight of the Conchords then - well, you might just be the most perfect person ever. Any girl who giggles at stupid stuff, will happily scoff a McDonads at the weekend and not worry about their waistline, or is up for spending Sunday morning in bed reading the papers is all right by me, and anyone who refused to dance to cheesy music, writes emails in textspeak, or thinks that Kerry Katona is an adequate answer to favourite author should look elsewhere!
